Building foundational multi sensory skills early in life has been shown to improve academic performance. Art has been linked to a higher proficiency in math, reading, writing, and science.

Art can help boost confidence and resiliency. Art classes provide a space to find community and belonging, while allowing children to express their feelings without words. Art also been shown to alleviate anxiety, depression, and stress.

Greetings! I have been living the dream as a professional art teacher for thirteen years. Watching children express themselves, develop creativity, and exude joy through creating art is something I want to do every single day for the rest of my life. It’s my believe that art is just as much about the process as it is the outcome.
